- Lemon – Lime is a bit more tart but can easily be swapped or preferred for this recipe, the choice is yours.
- Red/Green Cabbage– I like to mix the two because it makes the dish vibrantly beautiful but you can absolutely go with one or the other.
Mexican Slaw Ingredients:
- 1/2 head of red cabbage
- 1/2 head of green cabbage
- 1-3 jalapeno (depending on how much heat you want)
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- Juice of 2 large lemons or lime
- 1/2 cup of cilantro

- Finely chop red and green cabbage, cilantro, and jalapeno and add to a large mixing bowl.
